Bowley has a dedicated target shooting range which has four lanes suitable for ten metre air rifle target shooting.

The range is fully enclosed and secure and therefore shooting can be an all-weather activity. The range is fitted with good lighting and has some heating for Autumn and Winter seasons. The external elevations have been recently refurbished and an internal upgrade programme is agreed.

The shooting equipment inventory is extensive with a number of rifles available for use by the participants. In the Spring of 2011 three additional lightweight air rifles were purchased, which are particularly suitable for young people of small build.

In the range fee the rifles, pellets and targets are all included. We provide safety spectacles for all shooters; this is a compulsory rule on the Bowley Range.

Target shooting requires  a declaration in respect of Section 21of the Firearms Amendment Act.

Leaders in charge of shooting groups will be required to sign the appropriate form available at bowley office.
